Straight to DVD

Just finished watching Bunraku. By the number of cliches in this movie you could probably make a decent drinking game out of it. This is basically Sin City meets Kill Bill but not as good as either and the narrator gets annoying at times. In the first 15 minutes of this movie I was expecting to see Adam West join the fight in his Batman costume. I will admit the visuals and some of the fight scenes are interesting. I think this movie tried to do way too much and it just accomplishes nothing. There are comic book references, bible references, and they throw in a Fidel Castro just to keep it random. The acting was decent. I think the bad comes from the cheesy writing and it doesn't give much for the actors to do but pose and look cool. I think people who like a good bad movie might get a kick out this. I would stay away if you are looking for anything other than that. I would love to hear some opinions on this if you end up watching it.
