One of the guilty pleasures of the past year was sitting down on a lazy weekend and watching The Raid. Not officially but it was basically the same formula as Dredd. Police officers raid a building that houses criminals and they must make it out alive. Not much plot but I wasn't expecting it and appreciated the lack of it to be honest. This is all about action and martial arts skills, not to mention camera angle tricks. It did fairly well world wide so I'm not surprised to see a sequel.
