Guys Night Out, with the wife.

 So I wasn't able schedule that guys night out but I did end up seeing Olympus Has Fallen with my lovely wife. I don't think she was too excited when she found out what I wanted to see. She had not heard of the film but things turned into my favor when I mentioned Gerard Butler is in it.

This film was a fun time. It's not going to win an Oscar but it was a fun time at the movies. The plot revolves around the White House being taken over by a group of terrorists. Gerard Butler does a good job of moving the action along and once it gets going it doesn't stop. At moments I have to admit I fell for the over patriotic, intentional heartstrings pulling. There was not much surprises as the movie is predictable but so are most 80's action films and I love those just fine. If you go see this movie make fun night of it.
